Dr. Susie S. Hayden
Dr. Susie received her undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran College in 1987. She attended UTHSC San Antonio, graduated in 1992, and received her pediatric certification in 2000
She is married to Dr. Bill Cruse. They are blessed to have two children, a daughter, Forrest, and a son, Will. While Dr. Susie’s husband, Bill was in the United States Army serving as a dentist, they had the opportunity to travel to Europe. While in Europe Dr. Susie worked as a civilian dentist and soon was recognized by her peers as the “children’s dentist.” It was then that she knew that she was called to work with children. After her husband’s separation from the military, they returned to San Antonio and she entered the Pediatric Program at UTHSC in 1998.
Dr. Susie is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and San Antonio Pediatric Dental Society, and is a Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Courtney L. Alexander
Dr. Courtney received her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University in 2001. She received her DDS from UTHSC San Antonio graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2005 with honors in research. She joined Stone Oak Pediatric Dentistry in 2005. She returned to UTHSC San Antonio from 2007 to 2009 to complete her Pediatric Residency. She founded Dominion Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Susie in 2009 and in 2010 became a partner in Stone Oak Pediatric Dentistry.
She currently serves on the Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children national board of directors, and is also active on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s New Dentist Committee. She has previously served on the Texas Dental Association Committee on the New Dentist, the San Antonio District Dental Society Board of Directors, and the SADDS Committee on the New Dentist.
Dr. Courtney was selected from across the nation as the 2008 Samuel Harris Fellow. This fellowship is sponsored by Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children the Foundation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2008, she was the recipient of the Texas Dental Association New Dentist of the Year Leadership Award.
Dr. Courtney is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, San Antonio District Dental Society, and the San Antonio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Courtney grew up in Copperas Cove, Texas. After marrying her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rick, they made their home in San Antonio. They are the proud parents of two children, Londyn and Hudson. In her spare time, Dr. Courtney loves reading, traveling, spending time with her family, attending church, and watching movies.
Dr. Ariel Murray
Dr. Ariel Murray is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist deeply committed to providing the highest standard of care and a positive experience for her young patients. She feels truly honored by the trust parents place in her to care for their children and is dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable environment for each child she treats.
Dr. Ariel earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UT Health School of Dentistry, San Antonio. She continued her training at the prestigious NYU Langone Pediatric Residency program in San Diego at Rady Children’s Hospital, where she earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Ariel finds joy in her family life. She is happily married to her husband, Bobby, and they have a beautiful daughter, Sophie, who recently celebrated her first birthday. The Murray family also includes two furry companions, Stella and Pearl. They cherish weekends spent strolling along the Riverwalk, connecting with loved ones, and escaping to the tranquility of the lake. Dr. Ariel also indulges her creative side through painting, finding it a fulfilling outlet for self-expression.
